The emerald ash borer is already responsible for the death of more than 15 million North American ash trees. These shade trees comprise approximately 20% of our urban forest, and every one of them is at risk. Find out how the Garden is addressing this problem and what you can do to protect these trees on your or your client’s property.

The Garden has joined forces with its Principal Tree Care partner Autumn Tree, a SavATree company, to develop a multiple phase emerald ash borer management plan. Using this plan as a case study, the seminar will include: necessary first steps to take to preserve ash trees; a demonstration of the most effective EAB treatment, including which trees are candidates and which are not: and how to anticipate changes to the local landscape in the coming years.
