Chicago Botanic Garden
Autumn - SavATree is proud to serve as the Principal Tree Health Care Sponsor of the Chicago Botanic Garden.
This education-oriented sponsorship in the area of woody plant care - established in 2004 - provides numerous opportunities for Autumn - SavATree to share information with the Chicago Botanic Garden and the public.
As a part of this relationship, Autumn - SavATree will serve as a resource to the Chicago Botanic Garden's staff and volunteers by:
- Donating arboricultural services for the Garden's specimens
- Assisting with ecological programs (such as buckthorn abatement efforts)
- Presenting training sessions to the Garden's Plant Information volunteers and horticulture staff
- Participating in pest monitoring programs to safeguard the Garden's woody plant collection
In addition, Autumn - SavATree will share its expertise with the Garden's visitors by:
- Providing seasonal guided tree tours
- Conducting seasonal "Ask An Arborist" information booths
